Founded in Vancouver in 2019, ThinkingLab brings together technology leadership, architecture, engineering, and business thinking to help ambitious ideas become practical, scalable systems.
Our story
ThinkingLab began in 2019 as something deliberately different — not your typical startup accelerator. It brought together technologists, engineers, artists, doctors, and business-minded builders to help companies move from early-stage ideas toward scalable technology businesses.
That experience shaped a simple conviction: successful products require more than implementation. They depend on understanding the business model, the customer, security, cloud economics, operations, and the path to growth — and on making technology decisions with all of those in view.
Today, that conviction guides our work in fractional CTO leadership, AI, cloud architecture, and product engineering.

Mission
Help founders and organizations make better technology decisions, build useful products faster, and create scalable businesses without needing a complete internal executive and engineering organization from day one.
Vision
Make experienced technical leadership, modern architecture, and engineering capabilities accessible to organizations with strong ideas, regardless of their existing technology resources.
Good products come from different perspectives. ThinkingLab was founded on bringing technologists, engineers, creatives, clinicians, and business builders to the same table.
We evaluate the business model, customers, security, cloud economics, and operations before choosing technology.
Clients work with experienced people who make and own decisions, not with layers of account management.
We work alongside your team, share our reasoning, and build capability you keep after we're gone.
